Gavin Webb, the director, editor, producer, and lead investigator, singlehandedly brought the series to life, financing and producing it independently. “I’ve always had a passion for the paranormal, but I wanted to make something that felt real, raw, and authentic,” says Gavin. “I always noticed no paranormal shows come to Arkansas, And when they do it’s to the same location every time, The Crescent. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and make Haunted Arkansas.”
In the series, the team (Gavin Webb, Mickayla Carreker, and Emily Ruckman) of investigators travels across Arkansas, visiting 10 iconic haunted locations to uncover the truth behind ghost stories and paranormal activity. “I think the series is a somewhat fresh look at paranormal documentaries. It’s no big camera crew or even a big budget. It’s just us in haunted locations trying to see if we can catch anything paranormal related.” says Mickayla Carreker.
